My Story

I’m the founder of ReciDish, a high-protein recipe platform built for busy professionals who want food that fits real life.
For most of my twenties, I was that person eating over my laptop between meetings, living on iced coffee, protein bars, and whatever delivery arrived fastest. I loved food, but I also loved my work—and cooking felt like “one more thing” I didn’t have time for. By Friday, I’d be exhausted, bloated, and wondering how I’d spent so much money and still felt so under-fueled.
Over time, I started to realize that my energy, mood, and focus were directly tied to how I was eating. I didn’t need a fancy diet; I needed simple, repeatable meals that were high in protein, macro-balanced, and easy enough to make after a long day. That’s where my obsession with weekly meal prep bowls, 20-minute dinners, and flavor-packed, protein-dense recipes began.
Now I specialize in high-protein meal prep for busy professionals—people who love the idea of eating well but don’t have the time, energy, or mental bandwidth to figure it all out from scratch.
The Turning Point
My turning point came after a week-long product launch at my old corporate job. I’d worked late every night, lived on takeout and snacks, and by Sunday I felt completely wrecked—puffy, wired but tired, and totally drained. I opened my banking app and saw how much I’d spent on delivery that week, and it honestly made my stomach drop.
That same afternoon, I remember standing in my kitchen in Austin with an empty fridge, holding my phone, about to order yet another $30 salad. Instead, I put the phone down, grabbed a notepad, and decided to treat my own meals like a “project” to optimize. I asked: What if I could create a system where my future self always had high-protein, delicious meals ready to go?
That day, I mapped out my first real weekly meal prep plan—simple protein, roasted veggies, grains, and sauces I actually looked forward to eating. The difference I felt that week in energy, cravings, and focus was huge. That was the moment I knew this wasn’t just about recipes; it was about building a sustainable system for busy lives.
What I Learned the Hard Way
I learned the hard way that “I’ll just wing it” rarely works when you’re busy. Without a plan, I’d over-restrict early in the week, then overeat by Thursday, feeling guilty and frustrated. I also tried every complicated meal prep trend you can imagine—only to burn out on recipes that took way too long or required 17 ingredients I’d never use again.
I also discovered that “healthy” doesn’t always mean satisfying. Low-protein meals left me hungry an hour later, raiding the pantry and wondering why my “healthy” eating wasn’t working. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to build meals that were genuinely satisfying, high in protein, and still realistic for a busy schedule.
Those mistakes are exactly why I’m so committed now to recipes that are both practical and enjoyable—no perfection, no food guilt, just real-life systems that actually fit into your week.
My Approach Now
Today, my approach is simple: protein-first, flavor-forward, and real-life friendly. Every recipe I create is optimized for at least one of three things—weekly meal prep, 20-minute weeknight dinners, or macro-balanced bowls that can flex with your goals.
I design meals with the U.S. pantry and taste preferences in mind, using accessible ingredients you can find at a typical grocery store. I layer flavors with sauces, spices, and textures so high-protein meals never feel boring or “diet-y.” And I always think in terms of systems—base recipes, mix-and-match components, and templates you can reuse week after week.
At the heart of it, my work is about helping busy professionals eat in a way that supports their energy, performance, and life outside of work—without needing to become a full-time chef.
What I Believe
- High-protein eating doesn’t have to be bland, boring, or overly “fitness-y.”
- Busy professionals need systems, not strict meal plans—flexibility wins long term.
- Meal prep should save you time and decision fatigue, not add more stress.
- Macro-balanced meals can include your favorite flavors and comfort foods.
- Consistency beats perfection—small, repeatable habits create the biggest changes.
How I Can Help You
I help busy professionals turn chaotic, last-minute eating into a calm, predictable rhythm that still feels fun and satisfying. Through Recidish and my work at recidish.com, I create high-protein meal prep recipes, 20-minute dinners, and macro-balanced bowls designed specifically for people who don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen.
Whether you’re trying to hit protein targets, maintain steady energy for long workdays, or simply stop relying on expensive takeout, I give you practical tools: step-by-step meal prep guides, plug-and-play recipe templates, and clear, U.S.-friendly ingredient lists. My goal is for you to open your fridge on a Wednesday night and already have options that make you think, “Oh yes, I want that.”
If you’re ready to make meal prep feel doable—and actually enjoyable—I’m here to help you build a system that fits your lifestyle, not someone else’s ideal.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not testing sauces or tweaking macros in a new bowl recipe, you’ll usually find me wandering Austin farmers’ markets, hunting for fresh ingredients and new flavor ideas. I love long walks with a good podcast, cozy coffee shop work sessions, and low-key dinner parties where meal prep bowls turn into build-your-own bar nights.
I’m a big believer in “real life first, food supports it”—which means my own weeks are full of imperfect moments, last-minute pivots, and plenty of taste-testing along the way. I bring that same realistic, compassionate mindset into every recipe and resource I create.
